BASIC ADD-ONS

1. Selecting audio visual equipment - Every event needs some sort of AV equipment in order to project the right sound and visuals to your audience. This add-on will allow you to secure your equipment through our event managers, saving you the hassle of deciphering AV speak and the time needed to search for a quote and confirm your supplier. After an initial chat with you to gain a better understanding of your needs and budgets, Events on a Shoestring will:
- Produce a list of the required equipment
- Acquire a quote from your venue’s preferred AV supplier
- Run through the quote with you
- Go back to the supplier for one quote change
- Confirm the quote
- Introduce you to the AV contact for further management
2. Issuing a call for speakers - If you need speakers for your event and have a good database of members or contacts that would be interested in speaking then putting forward a call for speakers is probably the easiest way to get them confirmed. After an initial chat with you to gain a better understanding of your speaking needs and topic area, Events on a Shoestring will:
- Identifying potential avenues to advertise the call for speakers through your current networks
- Put together the speaker’s application form
- Put together the speaker’s information document
- Put together an email which would be sent out with the call for speakers
- Advise you on a potential selection process and way forward
3. Developing a marketing plan - Every event needs some sort of marketing – even those on a budget! Through this add-on we will work with you to design an easy to follow marketing plan for your implementation. After an initial meeting in which we will endeavour to learn more about your event, its aims and target market, Events on a Shoestring will:
- Identify the various marketing avenues which are available to you according to your budget and current networks
- Put together a marketing plan with potential strategies for you to follow through, including target audience identification
- Put together a marketing budget corresponding with the strategies in the plan
- Run through both the plan and the budget with you and advise on the initial points for implementation
4. Sourcing suppliers - You will probably need to source quite a few suppliers for your event for items such as speaker gifts, delegate booklets, lanyards and nametags etc . After an initial meeting to understand your procurement needs, Events on a Shoestring will remove the hassle and time of searching for quotes by:
- Identifying up to 5 supplier needs with you, including, descriptions, quantities and budgets
- Search for two feasible options per supplier
- Procure quotes
- Compile a report with all the relevant information including contact details for you to go ahead and place your orders
