9. Our contract
When you place an order to purchase a package from www.eventsonashoestring.com, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product and service which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've dispatched the Guidebook to you (the "Shipping E-mail"). That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Shipping E-mail to you.

The 'unlimited email support' component of the package should only be used to provide advise and support on queries related to the Event Management Guidebook and the planning process of one event as identified by you. This does not include any actual event management services including but not limited to venue confirmation, content management, marketing activities, logistical or operational activities etc.

10. Cooperation
The client may order services from or through Events on a Shoestring. In order to provide these services, you agree to cooperate with Events on a Shoestring by providing:

• Timely responses to Events on a Shoestring inquiries and requests
• Access to any information or materials reasonably requested by Events on a Shoestring which are necessary or useful as determined by Events on a Shoestring in connection with providing the services
  
• All required consents for Events on a Shoestring to provide the services
• You acknowledge and agree that the services are dependent upon the completeness and accuracy of information provided by yourself and the knowledge and cooperation of the agents, employees or subcontractors engaged or appointed by yourself and hence selected to work with Events on a Shoestring
  

11. Pricing
You agree to pay for our services in the manner specified on the web site or any other document that specifies pricing. Events on a Shoestring reserves the right to adjust any pricing for any of its products and services.

All prices are inclusive of taxes and shipping costs unless stated otherwise. In the case that unforeseeable expenses such as, but not limited to, travel and living expenses are required for Events on a Shoestring to perform the required tasks required, these will be considered as additional expenses to be covered by the client who will be notified in writing, prior to the expense being made.

Any suppliers contracted through Events on a Shoestring on behalf of the customer need to be paid directly by the customer. Events on a Shoestring accepts no responsibility or liability for these payments.

12. Customs
When ordering an Event Management guide, or any other product or good, from Events on a Shoestring, for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.

Additionally, please note that when ordering from Events on a Shoestring, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

13. Cancellation
You acknowledge that despite our reasonable precautions, products and services offered by us may be listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a typographical error, oversight or the like. In these circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction, notwithstanding that your order has been confirmed and your credit card has been charged. We reserve this right up until the time of delivery of supply of the services to you. If a cancellation of this nature occurs after your credit card has been charged for the purchase, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card for the amount in question.

Should you decide to cancel the project at any point during which the service portion of the selected package is still being undertaken no refund will be returned. However, should you decide to cancel the project before the service portion of the package has commenced you will be able to reclaim the difference between your current package price and the basic package price.

14. Electronic communications
When you visit Events on a Shoestring or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We will also communicate with you by e-mail. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

15. Losses
Events on a Shoestring warrants that the products and services will be performed in a good and workmanlike manner and in good faith. In no event will Events on a Shoestring or any of its affiliates be responsible or liable for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other direct, indirect, special, exemplary or consequential loss or damages that are not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the website or when a contract for the sale of products or services by us to you was formed.

16. Events beyond our reasonable control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these terms and conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control.

17. Waiver
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.
